Portland, OR – Championship Monday at the National Presidents’ Day event by Hoop Source lived up to expectations, showcasing intense competition across all divisions. From the 8th grade to the 5th grade classes, every game was a battle, with teams leaving everything on the court in pursuit of a championship.

Here’s a breakdown of the title matchups and their winners:

2029 Division: New Heights Edges Out Team Dynasty

In the final moments, New Heights made key plays on both ends of the floor, securing the victory and claiming the National Presidents’ Day championship.

2030 Division: Team Thrill Too Much for Team Fuego

Team Thrill came out firing in their 2030 championship matchup against Team Fuego, building an early lead with their signature speed, toughness, and defensive pressure. Team Fuego showed resilience, cutting the deficit to single digits in the second half, but Team Thrill’s depth and execution down the stretch proved decisive as they pulled away for the title.

2031 Division: Team Thrill Survives Trey Mann Elite in Thriller

The 2031 championship game was a back-and-forth battle between Team Thrill and Trey Mann Elite, featuring an impressive display of three-point shooting and perimeter skill. With the game coming down to the final possession, Team Thrill held strong, eking out a one-point victory to secure another championship for the program.

2032 Division: New York Gauchos Dominate Early, Hold Off Team Renton

In the 2032 championship, the New York Gauchos imposed their will early against Team Renton, jumping out to a commanding lead. Team Renton refused to back down, fighting back in the second half to make it a competitive game. However, the Gauchos maintained control and closed out the game with a double-digit victory, sealing their place atop the division.

East Coast Teams Sweep the Titles

With the intensity, talent, and competitive spirit on display throughout the event, the National Presidents’ Day tournament once again solidified itself as a premier stage for youth basketball.
