EVENT COVERAGE

This past weekend’s Windy City Classic in Chicago, alongside our partners at One Movement Hoops, delivered another strong showing on the Super Circuit. The event once again provided an excellent platform to evaluate new programs while also giving us updated looks at some of the top teams in the country as we continue to refine our national player and team rankings. From start to finish, the competition was highly competitive, with several teams stepping up and making clear statements on the national stage.

2030 Groovy Nation was one of the biggest standouts of the weekend, making a major statement by pushing Mac Irvin Fire Larro down to the wire in a highly competitive championship matchup. Built around high-level guard play and toughness, they compete with intensity on both ends of the floor. Their ability to go toe-to-toe with one of the top teams in the country shows they are a legitimate contender and a tough matchup for anyone moving forward.

2031 Bates Fundamental put together a strong and consistent weekend performance, led by an elite point guard who controls the game on both ends. Their combination of coaching, toughness, and execution allows them to compete at a high level, and they continue to prove they can perform against quality competition.

2032 Playmaker University made a strong national statement as one of the top teams in their class. Led by a high-level forward with great size and versatility, along with quality guard play, they present a balanced and effective attack. Their ability to impact the game in multiple ways makes them a serious threat on both ends of the floor.

2033 94 Feet Elite showcased why they are considered one of the top teams in their class. With a well-balanced roster featuring strong forwards and high-level guard play, they bring a level of toughness and physicality that consistently gives opponents problems. Their style of play and depth make them a difficult matchup across the board.

2034 94 Feet Elite continues to build on the program’s identity, bringing the same toughness and competitive edge. With strong guard play and physical forwards, they play with consistency and effort, making them another high-level group capable of competing with top teams nationally.

2035 DBL Elite made a strong impression in their first evaluation, playing with great energy and showing strong chemistry as a unit. Led by two high-level guards who consistently attack and create opportunities, they demonstrated the ability to compete at the national level and will be a group to watch as they continue to develop.

Overall, the Windy City Classic once again proved to be a valuable stop on the Super Circuit, highlighting both emerging programs and established contenders. As the season progresses, these teams have positioned themselves as ones to watch closely on the national landscape.
